Review: Marigolds and Murder by London Lovett

Last year I discovered the world of cozy mysteries and let me just say, I have been missing out! Cozy mysteries are so fun and they keep you on your feet just enough to keep you wanting more! One of the authors that I came across last year was London Lovett….I can confidently say, she is one of my favorite authors! The first book that I read was Marigolds and Murder from Lovett’s Port Danby series.

Let’s just say, there is an old Victorian house, a pumpkin contest, and a murder! Our heroine in the story , Lacey “Pink” Pinkerton left her six figure job to become a florist in a small seaside town called Port Danby. Little did she know, she would become an unofficial detective because of her million dollar nose! Oh and did I mention she has a cat named Nevermore and a pet crow named Kingston. How cool is that?

This was such a fun book to read! I became so enthralled with Lacey and her life. Not only was she new to town, she made friends easily, met two eligible  bachelors, and had a high sense of smell which she used to help solve  a murder. It was an easy read and the best part of it all, there are 8 more books in the series to continue to read!

Rating: 💛💛💛💛💛
