What I’m Reading

Happy Wednesday friends! Can you believe we are halfway through the week? It has been a short week for me being that I was off of work on Monday and have every Friday off! With tomorrow being my Friday and the weather being very cold, I am hoping to get a lot of reading in this weekend. Here is what I hope to read for the next week.

1.Β Rosies Travelling Tea Shop by Rebecca Raisin-I technically started this on Sunday, but hope to finish it this coming weekend. So far I love it! Our main character Rosie, is going through some major changes in her life and she is just trying to figure this whole “new life,” out. Rosie is a planner, but oh so quirky and definitely has me laughing.*** I was provided the eARC of this book through Netgalley and HQ Digital in exchange for an honest review. This beautiful book is set to release on March 3, 2019!***

2.The Opposite of You by Rachel Higginson– After leaving an absuive relationship and traveling throughout Europe as a chef, Vera has found herself back home in the US starting her own food truck business.Β  **If you have Kindle Unlimited, you are able to get this for free!**

3.Β The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden– I have heard so much about the Winternight trilogy, so I am going to start the series! All I really know is that this series is filled with magic and is set in Russia. Looking forward diving into this!

Book Review: Seven Places Without You By Juan Berrio

screenshot_20190117-235258I received an advanced digital copy of this graphic novel via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Seven Places Without You is a graphic novel following a young woman named Elena who is going through a transitional phase in her relationship with her boyfriend Jorge. The only thing she can do is move out and start a life of her own. Little does she know, Jorge will show up and try to win her back. Will Elena give in?

I truly enjoyed reading this graphic novel! I loved how the author described Elenas pain and confusion. I could feel her emotionsΒ  and that is one of my favorite things to experience while reading. However, I hated that Jorge came back into the picture and ultimately expected for everything to be normal.

Overall, I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars.
